80th annual One World Day – Parade of Flags – August 30, 2026
Silk Road Cultural Collective (SRCC) was proud to march on August 30 in the 80th Annual One World Day celebration as part of the Chinese Cultural Garden members. Joining communities from across Greater Cleveland, SRCC helped honor the rich traditions, history, and living spirit of Chinese culture while celebrating the many cultures that make our region stronger. The procession was a joyful expression of cultural pride, friendship, and exchange, reflecting One World Day’s enduring mission of bringing people together. SRCC is grateful to every member, partner, and supporter who participated and helped make this milestone celebration memorable.
Ukrainian Village of Parma Independence Day Parade – 8-22-2026

Silk Road Cultural Collective participated in the Ukrainian Village of Parma Parade on August 22, 2026, bringing our mission of celebrating Asian heritage and cultural traditions into the community. The event was a wonderful opportunity to represent Silk Road Cultural Collective and connect with fellow cultural organizations and parade attendees.
Wade Oval Wednesday – University Circle – 8-5-2026
Silk Road Cultural Collective participated in Wade Oval Wednesday’s International Day in University Heights on August 5, 2026. The event brought together cultures and communities from across the region, providing SRCC with an opportunity to share and celebrate Chinese and broader Asian heritage with the community.
17th Cleveland Asian Festival – 5-16 to 5-17 2026
Silk Road Cultural Collective participated in the 17th Cleveland Asian Festival on May 16–17, 2026. The festival brought together the diverse Asian communities of Greater Cleveland for a weekend of cultural celebration, performances, food, arts, and community connection. SRCC was proud to participate and share its mission of bringing Chinese and broader Asian heritage to life.
Guardians Game – May 12 AAPI Night
Silk Road Cultural Collective was proud to participate in AAPI Night at a Cleveland Guardians game on May 12, 2026. The event celebrated Asian American and Pacific Islander heritage and community throughout Northeast Ohio, bringing together people from across the region for an evening of culture, community, and baseball.
Cuyahoga County Library Solon Branch – 5-7-2026
Silk Road Cultural Collective participated in an educational program at the Cuyahoga County Public Library’s Solon Branch on May 7, 2026. SRCC provided a first-hand presentation on Asian heritage and the Cleveland Asian Festival, sharing cultural knowledge, community history, and insights into the significance of celebrating Asian heritage in Greater Cleveland.
Cleveland International Hall of Fame – 4-21-2026
Silk Road Cultural Collective participated in a meet and greet at the Cleveland International Hall of Fame event on April 21, 2026. The gathering provided an opportunity to connect with community leaders, cultural organizations, and members of Greater Cleveland’s diverse international community while introducing SRCC and its mission to a broader audience.
10th annual Cleveland International Martial Arts Hall of Fame Banquet – 4-11-2026

Silk Road Cultural Collective participated in the 10th Annual Cleveland International Martial Arts Hall of Fame Banquet on April 11, 2026, presenting a cultural and martial arts demonstration for attendees. The event provided an opportunity to showcase Asian martial arts traditions while connecting cultural heritage with Cleveland’s long-standing martial arts community.
Laurel School – Culture Fest – 4-10-2026
Silk Road Cultural Collective participated in Laurel School’s Cultural Fest on April 10, 2026, with a meet and greet and an educational presentation about Hanfu, traditional Chinese clothing and its cultural heritage. SRCC shared the history and cultural significance of Hanfu while engaging with students and the school community in celebration of cultural diversity.
Persian New Year Celebration – City Hall – 3-23-2026
Silk Road Cultural Collective participated in and performed at the Persian New Year Celebration at Cleveland City Hall on March 23, 2026. The celebration brought together Cleveland’s diverse cultural communities to recognize Nowruz and Persian heritage. SRCC was proud to contribute a cultural performance and celebrate alongside the Persian and Greater Cleveland communities.
St. Patrick’s Parade – 3-17-2026
Silk Road Cultural Collective marched in the Cleveland St. Patrick’s Day Parade on March 17, 2026, as part of the Cleveland Asian Festival contingent. The parade provided an opportunity to celebrate Cleveland’s diverse communities and represent Asian heritage alongside one of the city’s most beloved annual traditions.
Fan Expo Cleveland – March 14-15, 2026
Silk Road Cultural Collective participated in Cleveland FanExpo on March 14–15, 2026, with a meet and greet, cultural demonstration, and educational lecture on the history of Asian armor and swords. SRCC shared historical knowledge and cultural traditions with attendees while showcasing its collection of Authentic Handmade Historical Replicas and connecting with fans of history, martial arts, and Asian culture.
SouthPark Mall Lunar New Year Celebration – 3-8-2026
Silk Road Cultural Collective participated in the SouthPark Mall Lunar New Year Celebration on March 8, 2026, hosting a table and meet and greet to introduce the organization and its mission to the community. SRCC shared information about its work celebrating Chinese and broader Asian heritage while connecting with attendees during the Lunar New Year festivities.
Cleveland Chinese Chamber of Commerce – 3-7-2026
Silk Road Cultural Collective participated in the Cleveland Chinese Chamber of Commerce Chinese New Year Celebration on March 7, 2026, through a meet and greet with attendees and members of the community. The event provided an opportunity to connect with Cleveland’s Chinese American community, introduce SRCC’s mission, and celebrate Chinese cultural heritage during the Lunar New Year season.

Silk Road Cultural Collective participated in the Asia Plaza Lunar New Year Celebration on February 14–15, 2026, with a meet and greet and cultural performance featuring martial arts. SRCC connected with attendees while sharing Chinese and broader Asian cultural heritage through live demonstration and community engagement.
City of Solon Lunar New Year Celebration – 1-31-2026
Silk Road Cultural Collective participated in the City of Solon Lunar New Year Celebration on January 31, 2026, with a community booth and a live stage performance. SRCC introduced its mission and cultural programs to attendees while celebrating the Lunar New Year through cultural performance and community engagement.
